On 12 August 2008 Sifu Bernd Hoehle, a great friend and Headmaster of the Martial Arts Association-International in Germany (MAA-I) donated to the Alfonso-Skip Ellsworth Memorial Fund, the very first donation of $250.00. http://www.maa-i.com/
This money has already been sent and received by Dr. Mac, and will be brought to Skip's Beach Resort and awarded to Mrs. Belle Ellsworth personally, when Dr. Mac returns to the Philippines the end of Sept. 2008, along with a team of Healthcare Practitioners.

On Wednesday, the 06th of August 2008, my friend and brother, DeWelle F. (Skip) Ellsworth, Jr. passed away peacefully in his home on the Island of Cebu, the Philippines.
He was a true and great friend to many and will be missed by us all. May he rest in peace with the knowledge that he and his memory will live on through his Legacy, the "Alfonso-Skip Ellsworth Memorial Fund)"!

On 31 July 2008, the JKDHHO accepted and entered into a Formal Agreement with the Sovereign Medical Order of the Knights Hospitaller of St. John of Jerusalem (SMOKH) for the purpose of the development of Healthcare and Medical Facilities Worldwide.
The first major project will be to build a Full-Service Charitable Hospital in Nepal, to be administrated by Mr. Shiva Bahadur Thapa in co-operation with the SMOKH.
The official visit and development of a Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) by JKDHHO's administration and SMOKH's administration is tentatively scheduled for March 2009.
----
During this past weekend (19 July 2008), I had the great privilege to be invited to the Pattaya German Club, Thailand, as guest speaker to present the present and future activities of the JKDHHO.
Being there amongst all these wonderful folks was indeed a great honour within itself, however, I was later both greatly honoured and humbled when the Matron and local T.V. Press Celebrity of this Club, Mrs. Erika Keller, mentioned first to her husband, then he to the Club, that I was a "Modern Day Dr. Albert Schweitzer" for the work I've done and plan to do. This was indeed one of the greatest honours ever bestowed!
----
During the time of my recent visit to the Philippines, I was granted full authorisation to treat patients by the Municipality of Dannbantayan, Island of Cebu, and as part of this authorisation was asked to work voluntarily at the Daanbantayan Rural Health Unit (Hospital).
I was furthermore given the honoured title as the "Official Doctor for the Alfonso Fund", and personal Doctor to my friend and brother Skip Ellsworth. http://cwdmgf.9f.com/photo.html (Alfonso Fund)
Also during this time (09 May 2008), I had the great honour and pleasure to deliver a very healthy (6 lbs) baby girl after twenty-one years since my first visit to the Philippines (Please see photo in the "Media" section of this webblog).

This Healthcare Centre is in its developmental stages under the supervision of Mr. Shiva Bahadur Thapa, the Organisation's Founding Member and Representative in Nepal, and the first of its kind anywhere in the world, dedicated to the memory and honour of Bruce and Brandon Lee, who both believed in a person's total health and fitness through the development and nourishment of the body, spirit and mind. It is currently facing financial and medical care crisis's, due to: a lack of funds to build, buy more medicines, medical accessories, employ trained medical personnel to provide care, sanitation supplies and materials, and a suitable dedicated building.
The Healthcare Centre's healing practices will include treatments using both natural and allopathic medicine; daily body strengthening exercises based on Modified Gung Fu/Jeet Kune Do movements for the elderly; and fitness programmes for children. Weekly pre-natal/pregnancy check-ups and HIV awareness are also being planned. So please, be generous and pledge to give whatever you can. Or, adopt a specific need of this Clinic and Hospital: telephone, electric or transport fuel costs, or building rent and fund.
Also, the Organisation is presently involved in helping to locate interested sponsors, and is helping to support a muay Thai Camp (Camp Boonchuay in Bangkok for Children) , in order to advocate health, fitness, moral development, leadership, responsibility, community awareness and education.
Additionally, The Organisation is now also dedicated to helping Sifu Skip Ellsworth, a friend and caring man who was one of Sijo Bruce Lee's first students in America, along with Jesse Glover, Ed Hart, Taky Kimura, etc. Skip is the Volunteer Administrator of "THE ALFONSO FUND", which saves the lives of poor Filipino children by paying for their emergency medical care and medicine. ALL of the money that is sent to the fund is spent providing actual medical treatment for children; many of whom might otherwise die.
